A Message from our Principal
Dear Holy Family Community,
Wow! The 100 degree temperature did not keep our intrepid and committed families away from having fun at Fall Fest last Sunday! It takes a village to run a Fall Fest and we have a lot of gracious people to thank! Did you know that Lisa Phillips and Vonne Velez have been our main HFCS volunteers in organizing the Fall Fest for the last six years – we thank them for their leadership and service! Let’s not forget Maria Orand who was also one of our main “Fall Fest Fairies”, too! What would we do without our Dad’s Club and Knights of Columbus, thank you Jack Price and Sergio Villarreal for your leadership. The HFCS faculty was there in force working the ticket booth, and parish staff, school parents and parishioners were at their stations or plain just having fun. Thank you to everyone who made Sunday a success, the children had a blast!
Our World Mission Rosary last Friday was so very beautiful and moving under the direction of Sister Teresa Vu. One of the many things we can be proud of here at HFCS is the deep devotion our students and teachers have for our faith.
Our Virtue of the Month is Forgiveness and our Saint of the Month is Saint Faustina.
Crazy Sock Day is Wednesday, October 16, the same date as our Home and School Association meeting. You may purchase your child’s $2.00 Crazy Sock Day pass during homeroom on Wednesday, October 16. Crazy Sock Day funds will support HSA sponsored HFCS Enrichment Nights.
Art Enrichment Night is Wednesday, October 16, the same night as the HSA meeting. Your HFCS students may be dropped off in the library while you attend the HSA meeting. Mrs. Sara Hiett will be our Art Enrichment Night moderator. Time? 5:30pm.

Mrs. Mandy Jonkers
I teach at Holy Family Catholic School, because I attended Catholic schools for 18 years in this diocese. Walking into Holy Family was like walking back into my childhood. I am able to celebrate my religion! I love that I can read bible stories to my students, that we are able to learn from each other and deepen our sense of religion.
This environment is welcoming, joyful and exciting. Holy Family is a comforting family which truly cares about each other. I am so excited that my own two children are able to attend Holy Family Catholic School; my own family gets to belong to this loving family.
