Map of the Graduation Route
Cars will enter the Staff Parking lot entrance off of Hahman (North side of Campus). Because this is a new way of hosting graduation, and we will have many cars in our driveway, PLEASE ONLY come at your appointed time.
Staff assigned at the checkpoint will ask for the graduate’s name and radio the name ahead to the graduation stage. Optional: put your graduate’s name on the passenger side window.
Cars will be split into two lines and continue forward down the driveway.
As cars drive past the backside of the North Gym near the varsity baseball field, the graduate will exit and stand on a mark. We will allow up to three graduates to stand on socially distanced marks while waiting. Others will need to remain in their cars until the graduate has been invited to exit the vehicle.
He/she will walk across the stage and receive his/her diploma jacket from the table. The Principal and Vice-Principal will be on stage socially distanced to wish the graduate well. The graduate’s picture will be taken by a professional photographer and he/she will exit the stage. Graduates do not need to wear a mask while on stage. Graduates will need to keep their masks with them as they walk across the stage and put it on as they exit the stage.
Cars with the graduate’s family will continue on the driveway as their graduate walks the stage.
Once the graduate returns to the car, the family will need to leave the campus by driving straight to Hoen Ave and then turn left onto Hoen Ave.
Administration, SRPD, and staff will monitor the parking lot to ensure no one gets out of their car and to assist vehicles as they leave the campus.
