RSVP Now for Tays PTSA Exciting New Lunch and Learn: Academic Success in a Digital Age
When it comes to your child’s learning, how much tech is too much tech? How do we strike a balance between traditional study techniques, leveraging new technology in schools, and empowering students to take charge of their own learning on the Internet?
Join us for lunch and a fascinating speech by our very own Dr. Mitzner on technology and learning for your middle schooler.
Time / Date: March 5, 2020 @ 10:30 AM
Location: LGI Room @ Tays Junior High
This one hour presentation will follow the PTSA general meeting, which starts at 10:30 a.m. Presentation will end by 12:30 PM.
Will we see you at these events? Please let us know! RSVP Now.
At the lunch and learn, we’ll explore topics such as:
· How are your kids using technology in our school to help them be more responsible and more proactive learners?
· How is the HomeBase program helping your students learn tried-and-true study habits and improving their planning?
· What are kids really doing when left to their own devices (literally)? What aps should we encourage, which should we allow, and which should cause us concern?
Interested? Let us know if we should buy you lunch! Please RSVP now: Yes! Buy me lunch and save me a seat at for “Academic Success in a Digital Age.”

Hours: Monday - Friday 7:45 - 8:40. Students will enter through the doors closest to the flag pole in the front.
TUTORIAL SCHEDULE
Tutorials will be offered Monday through Friday. Students may attend tutorials with any grade level teacher - it does not have to be their classroom teacher.
Students are expected to enter through the front doors a 8:10am. Students are welcome to attend any teacher's tutorial within their grade level. Students are responsible for their own transportation to tutorials.
Afternoon Tutorials:
There is not a sign-up for afternoon tutorials, but if students wish to attend, they must be in the teacher's classroom by 4:00. These sessions will end at 4:25 and students will need to be picked up in front of the school in the circle drive.
