Kindergarten
Topic 10 - More Addition and Subtraction (24 days)
Smash Away
- Students roll a ball of Playdoh to represent the first number in a subtraction problem.
- Then, "Smash Away" the second number to take it away.
Plate Math
- Using plastic plates - Students will first choose an addition number sentence card.
- Then, students will build the addition number sentence using the partitions on the plate for the addends, and the bigger partition for the whole.
