Read-a-Thon Results!

Congratulations to all of our Read-a-Thon Readers and 'Raisers. We celebrated the school's amazing achievements of BEATING our reading and raising goal during last week's school-wide assembly. In all, our Bears read 120,444 minutes and raised $9,470.26. Way to go!

We also celebrated our Top Reading and Raising classes and top students from each grade. Top individual readers and raisers were entered into a raffle for 2 Kindle Fire tablets, Principal for a Day, and Lunch with a Teacher of their Choice. They also had the distinguished role of being the ones to SLIME our principal, Mrs. Binford, and our PTO Co-President, Mrs. Schmidt.

Thought we're sure your kids told you about the sliming, we're sure words can't describe how messy and FUN it actually was. You can check out a video of most of the sliming below.

Lastly, thanks to all of our teacher and families for fostering a love of reading while helping to raise an incredible amount of money to fund enrichments at our school!
