FYI: FMLA: Family Emergency Medical Leave Act
FMLA is a right! The Family Medical Leave Act provides for unpaid, job-protected leave to care for your own serious health condition, or because you need to care for your parent, spouse, or child with a serious health condition. Sick, vacation, or personal days can be used in concurrence with FMLA to ensure that you receive pay while on FMLA. Leave may be taken all at once or may be taken intermittently as the medical condition requires. For more information about FMLA, visit the following link:
Happenings and Celebrations
Wishing You All The Best
Please take some time to wish Nick Belli farewell. His last day with us will be November 24th. He will be joining the School of Engineering as their fund manager. Nick has been with us for two years and has been instrumental on the development team. He has helped organize our auction as well as spearheaded many other efforts linked to the annual fund. Since Meredith's departure Nick has truly stepped up to the plate...THANK YOU!!! He will be volunteering at the Carnival on the 16th. Make sure to stop by to wish him well.
Life Long Learning
Many of our teacher assistants have begun taking the extensive exams needed to become a credentialed teacher. Kudos to them!!! (Jenna and Ramon)
Shernice will be offering a CGI Workshop for our teaching assistants. A EC/primary session on Thursday, November 20th from 8-11 and an intermediate/upper session date TBD.

Shout out to Dan Warren for all the incredibly hard work he has been doing to keep up with ALL of our demanding technological needs...help is on the way.
