Halloween at Kipling School
Halloween is Monday October 31st at Kipling School. Students can bring costumes that they will change into after lunch for our Halloween Parade. The Parade will begin at 2pm at Kipling School. All students will make one lap around the building. Please leave some space between the building and you so that the parade can get through.
The parade will begin at 2pm (weather permitting). If it is raining or extremely cold the parade will be cancelled. Hopefully, we will have a great day for it.
Two points on costumes at school:
1. Avoid any bloody or scary costumes. This year, students also should stay away from clown costumes, as the "scary clown" issue earlier this fall created some stress among some students.
2. Be aware of your child's plans for dressing up as both an individual and a group. When 20 students in a grade dress up like the same character or as a group, it can create stress or lead to feelings of exclusion.
