Teaching and Learning
Music teachers are working to prepare ALL students for a school-wide field trip to Severance Hall to hear the Cleveland Orchestra perform on Friday, February 23rd! We will board busses by 8:30am and will return to Langston between 11:45-12pm for lunch. All LMS students will have lunch around the same time when we return, so sack lunches will be prepared for those needing a school lunch that day. All permission slips were included on the medical emergency forms completed at the beginning of the year, and Ms. Gregory is double-checking all forms this week! Use this Preparation Checklist to help prepare your child for the event!
Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support (PBIS)
CONGRATULATIONS to Alivia Simmons, Eliza Reese, and Ja'Marion Froust-Muse for being our January Balanced Students of the Month! Students who are well-balanced understand the importance of intellectual, physical and emotional balance to achieve personal well-being for themselves and others. Congrats again to Alivia, Eliza, and Ja'Marion!!!
