District News
Storytime with a Sheriff: Deputy Dech (one of our amazing School Resource Officers) wanted to share this book with the kids in our community because when she was in school she had what some people thought was a problem – she is dyslexic. It made things challenging for her, the same way it makes things challenging for many other people just like her. But she never gave up, she worked hard, she tried her best, and she learned to turn her challenges into opportunities. You can too and we believe in you! https://www.facebook.com/piercecounty.sheriff/videos/702694547170966/UzpfSTk2NDI5MDU0ODkxOjEwMTU3NjUxMzk0MzY5ODky/
Bond Update: Just over a year ago, voters in our district approved a School Construction Bond that will build three brand new schools in the coming years. Money from the bond will also be used to renovate and expand five other schools. The first school, Elementary #18, will open its doors in the fall of 2021. https://medium.com/@BethelSD/burning-down-the-house-16914f98b427
SENIORS! FAFSA Help!
An excellent resource for getting specific help on your FAFSA is their online CHAT feature. Here is how you can get there.
Go to www.fafsa.gov
Click on Help Center at the top right corner.
Scroll down to “Contact Us”
Scroll all the way down under Parents to Live Chat
You’ll put in your name and then be able to ask questions.
They usually respond within a couple of minutes. Of course, we are always willing to help as well. Please email Mrs. Woyak or Mrs. Kronoff!
