Gone Phishing
Think Phishing is the same as Fishing? It's time to read up.
All About Phishing
According to Google, "phishing" is the activity of defrauding an online account holder of financial information by posing as a legitimate company. Delete any emails or text messages that ask you to provide any personal information. This includes credit card and bank account numbers, passwords, and more. Do not reply! If you are worried about your account, cal the number on your financial statements or on the back of your credit card. To prevent such attacks, use trusted security software and set it to update automatically. Never send personal or financial information through email and also be careful when opening attachments and downloading files from emails. If you suspect yourself of being tricked by a phishing email file a report with the Federal Trade Commission or visit their website.
