Friday Night Live Students are Sharing the Love!
Hello everyone,
FNL Kids will be sharing their Love and Thanks to healthcare workers! Donations of thank you cards, and snacks will be collected. All donations will be delivered to Kaiser Moreno Valley-ICU Unit.
The ONLY COLLECTION DATE for students is February 11th during hot lunch 11am-1pm.

Think Together
Think Together is currently running a distance learning program & we are looking for more students to enroll! We offer 4 different sessions that our 30 minutes long with 10-minute break in-between. The students must attend at least 1 session a day to maintain enrollment. We have Social Emotional Learning 2pm-2:30pm, Study session 2:40pm-3:10pm, Healthy living( physical activity/nutrition) 3:20pm-3:50pm, and Enrichment( art/stem) 4pm-4:30pm.
I've attached the enrollment guide in English & Spanish with instructions on how to fill out the application. The links are included in the guide, but I will post them below as well.

Partners in Parenting University
We invite you to join us on February 10 at 6:00 p.m. for our Partners in Parenting University workshop! This parent workshop series aims to prepare parents on how to better support their children. The upcoming topic is “Help, my child is being bullied.” Topics for Partners in Parenting University workshops include mental health, drugs and alcohol, healthy family environment, and multi-tiered systems of support.

Paper Tutoring Now Available
Paper tutoring launched yesterday, Monday, January 25. Paper is available to all students in grades 4 to 12. Students can access Paper through Clever 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. SmartBus to Provide WiFi for Students - January Schedule
The SmartBus is here! If you are having trouble connecting to the Internet, you can now connect through MVUSD's SmartBus system. In order to support our families, some school buses have been equipped with internet connectivity. Smart Buses can be parked in a variety of areas during synchronous instruction to support students without Internet connection at home. The WiFi signal reaches up to 300 feet from the bus, allowing up to 65 students to connect at one time while practicing social distancing. Please refer to the guidelines and January bus schedule in this flyer.
Care Solace - Mental Healthcare Resources
Care Solace is a no-cost, online resource with a live 24/7 concierg individuals in finding local mental health related programs and counseling services. Care Solace is a tool for school staff and families to connect with community-based mental healthcare resources and providers. Their proprietary care navigation system taps into a vast database of mental healthcare resources to find carefully vetted local therapists and programs in minutes.

Scholarships and Contests
Art Contest: Life In Moreno Valley Before 1984
Moreno Valley City Councilman David Marquez is pleased to present an art contest dedicated to promoting local civic awareness and history. The city of Moreno Valley formed in December of 1984. Using their existing knowledge about the past of Moreno Valley or new and researched information, local youth in grades 2-12 are invited to develop a poster depicting life in Moreno Valley before the city formed.
