Living Our Mission
- Congratulations to Student Teacher, Lily Harding. She accepted a full-time teaching position for next year! Best of Luck!
- Way to Go Karen on a very successful K-1 Music Program! They kids were highly engaged and adorable! The songs were so fun!
- All of our 3-5th grade students have completed the IAR! Way to go to the teachers and proctors for successful administration of this assessment!

- STAR Math Testing Begins (See info below)
- 4th Grade Field Trip to the Peoria Symphony 9-11:30am
- Enrichment Eagles 2:45-34:30pm
- Curriculum Council at District Office 3:15-5pm
- 2nd Grade Poetry Cafe
- Secretary's Day. Lisa and Maureen will be treated to a lunch at Blue Margarita's with the other elementary secretaries and will NOT be in the office in the afternoon. We're thankful for ALL they do and hope this gives them a memorable time off to relax and enjoy for a bit!
- Board of Education new member installation 6pm DHS
- PLCS: K-3 will have grade level meetings. 4th/5th will go the HGES for a tech PLC. This will then alternate the following week.
- Band/Orchestra Rehearsal. They will leave at 2:10pm
- I will be providing you copies of the AR diagnostic report for the month of April
- Book Fair Kick Off at Morning announcements. These may run just a little longer.
- IEP 8am
STAR Testing
We have STAR scheduled to begin next week. All testing needs to be completed by May 3rd.
As a reminder, SGP for school goals, evaluation, and student growth are based on FALL to this Spring benchmark. Please let me know if you have any questions. Our school goal is 66
DGS Staff End of the Year Personal Days
If you do not use a personal day, it can get rolled over to the subsequent year.
End of Year Purchases
You can turn in orders for NEXT year with your blue folders at your check out meetings.

End of Year Blue Folders
Your Blue Folders were handed out last week. The folders include:
1. End of Year Checklist
2. Student Transition Planning Forms
3. Summer Send off Survey
4. Summer Purchase Requests
Heather will be communicating the textbook inventory process.
The end of year packet will also direct you to the DGS Royal TEAM Drive where classroom teachers can work on DRAFT class lists and submit summer maintenance requests
You will need to schedule a 20 minute check out meeting with me on May 28th. There are appointment slots of the google calendar or you can get that HERE
We will review the blue folder and discuss any other end of the year questions comments or concerns you have.
DGS Maintenance Requests
Please ensure you are emailing all requests for maintenance at dgsmaintenance@dunlapcusd.net
This helps George, Nancy, and Tom Grimm track building and district requests.
You can ask verbally for a request, but also be sure to send the email. It can be as simple as "Please move desk to stage in my classroom" or "Air Conditioning is leaking."

As a reminder, we are ready to schedule formal observations for those of you getting evaluated. That information is listed below. If you are a tenured staff member that is not getting evaluated, you should complete the PGP portion in iObservation and schedule a meeting with me to discuss your professional goals for the year. The timeline for those is also included below. As always, please let me know if you have questions!
