Principal's Message
What, Why, and How will you know?
Can your child answer these questions about their schooling?
"What did you learn today?" This is the most common question, a basic question your child should be able to answer.
"Why did you learn this?" is a challenging Elementary School question. The answers are embedded in our state standards and the clarity of teacher's lesson expectations.
"How will you know you've learned the lesson's goals?" Our teachers promote Student Ownership and Reflection for their grade level expectations. Being able to answer how you'll know that you've learned the lesson, provides students with clear and attainable goals.
Parent/ Teacher Conferences are in two weeks. We look forward to talking with you about your child's progress.
Stay warm,
Mr. Keener
