Hearne Elementary's Playbook
Week of May 21, 2018
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Santa Fe High School Community
We need your help this week by remaining vigilant, arriving on time and staying on duty so all areas of our building are supervised, and monitoring all students throughout the day.
The front office will Raptor In every visitor to our campus this week, as we normally do. We ask that you communicate this to your parents as we have Award Ceremonies all week. They must have a valid ID.
Campus safety is and will continue to be top priority. It takes everyone working as a unit to make this happen.
We Made it To the Last Week of School!
The votes are in!
All professional staff will work extra time this week. A sign in sheet will be posted outside of Mrs. Harvey's office. Please make sure you Raptor in and out each day so your hours can be calculated.
We will stay late on Thursday, May 24th in the library to review our staff climate survey, have our staff awards, and close out the school year.
We will be clear to leave the building on Friday, May 25th once all Hearne buses are clear from transportation and all students have left the building.
Administrators will walk during the day on Friday to check rooms and complete final checks. You can turn your keys into Mrs. Harvey beginning Friday afternoon. We will have a schedule so everyone is not in the front office at the same time.
Administrators will speak with paraprofessional staff members on Monday.
Let your team leader or supervisor know if you have any questions.
Never forget:
You make a difference!
You matter!
Our students need you!

Lead from your feet, not your seat!
Paws for Following Dismissal Expectations and Exiting the Cafeteria Line on a Level 0
Our focus for paws will be dismissal and exiting the cafeteria on a level 0 at this time.
Hopefully this schoolwide incentive will motivate our students to behave accordingly. As we know, Spring fever will be here soon, and we want to be proactive. I need staff to help promote “Paws for Pawsitive Behavior”. This is just reinforcing your classroom positive behavior incentives. Thanks for your cooperation and for all you do!!
Our UPDATED Campus Goal- Targeted Small Group Instruction
In order to achieve this goal this year and beyond, we are providing the proper training for all staff members so we can all be aligned as we tackle the Main Thing: Student Achievement.
