Student Performance

In the past few weeks, we have had several opportunities for student performance - Basketball play offs, Robotics, All-County Chorus, the Poetry Cafe, Battle of the Books, and Math Elite to name a few. Several of these were competitions where we came just shy of making the mark for award recognition. While this is exciting and noble to be in the top four, I know ALL of us are ready to cross the thresh-hold and actually claim the prize that we and our students work towards daily.

We do that by increasing the rigor, increasing the intensity, increasing support and encouragement and by making what we do engaging. There is a difference in entertaining and engaging. I am asking for engaging.
