Dear Parents,

Thank you so much for helping us collect food for Cypress Assistance Ministries. We were able to completely fill 5 vehicles with our collections. We love partnering with you to help give back to our community.

A special shout out to Debbie Downie, Kelly Jones, and Rachel Farris for loading and delivering all of our food donations.

Thank you for your generous donations for our Chunk the Change Campaign. We were able to give our custodians and food service employees a nice holiday bonus. These individuals work so hard every day. It is so nice for them to know that the whole community supports them.

Safety Drills

Dear Parents,

The safety and welfare of our students and staff are our highest priority. To provide schools an opportunity to practice emergency response procedures, our district Superintendent has asked all students and staff to participate in emergency preparedness drills on a continuous basis.

The goals of the training drills are to improve our ability to protect students, save lives, and reduce injuries. They allow us to evaluate our emergency operations plan and improve our response skills. As part of the drill, the students and staff participate in the activation of our Campus Emergency Operations Plan.

Your child will be participating in practice drills on Friday, January 7th at Sampson. The drill practice will begin at approximately 9:15 a.m. and conclude around 9:40 a.m. This might be a good time to discuss your family’s home preparedness plan with your student(s). If you have any questions or need further information, please do not hesitate to call our school office at 281-213-1600.

HoliDAY of Fun!

THANK YOU parents for all your donations and help with the HoliDAY of Fun! The kids had a great time celebrating all day long.

PTO helped bless our Sampson Staff with Goodr sunglasses for the holidays. Thank you to the Brook Home and Gift for helping us order them.
