Russell - HR

Russell came to the rescue in HR. They were needing some court documents of a laptop for a special ed case. They appreciate the first-class service and support.

Ken - Discovery

Thanks to Ken for walking me through his program that parses the SAP HR file that imports to TERMS. Most of you do not realize the creative problem solving that Ken has achieved over the years with this program. I came to the conclusion that the import to Infinite Campus will be just as complicated.

Jason - Excel

Jason is an Excel god! Who knew? He completed a complicated e-rate spreadsheet using secret magical formulas that saved tons of time. Awesome job, Jason.

iPad Student Rollout at Arthur

I know you're probably tired of Arthur getting all the love lately, but you've done an amazing job at helping them prepare - from unboxed, carting, prepping, PD, planning, and configuring. I can assure you that their staff and leadership, including Central Office leadership, if most appreciative and thankful. More importantly, the kids have no idea the amount of work that went into this rollout....but they'll reap the benefits. Watch a kindergarten class practice numeracy - number recognition.

Good To Great

After a lengthy intermission from our book study in IT Leadership, we're reengaging. Central Office leadership quotes extensively from this book. As such, it's a good idea to speak and understand their language. For those that want to follow along, we'll be discussing chapter 3 on the 20th.


3 Simple Truths

  1. Begin with the “Who” rather than the “What”. Helps you adapt to a changing world.
  2. If you have the right people on the bus, the problem of how to motivate and manage people largely goes away. The right people are self-motivated to produce the best results.
  3. Going in the right direction with the wrong people will never produce a great company. Great vision without great people is irrelevant.
