Congratulations STTV!

Laptop Reminder...
Please do not leave mac computers in your cold cars.
Similar to iPhones, when left in the extreme cold condition, the MacBook air will quit functioning and date and time will be incorrect. Once this happens, it won't connect to NKCS.
Easy fix: Turn on hotspot from their phone,
Go to self-service
Self Help
Install “Set Date and Time”
Turn WiFi off and on again

FALCON FEATURE
Falcon Feature:
Each week we will ‘feature’ one teacher as a simple way to ‘celebrate and challenge’ one another. This week’s Falcon Feature is Jan Sobbe.
Where are you from? Springfield, MO
What’s something interesting about yourself you wouldn’t mind sharing with others? I once made my living as a Paid Audience Member.
What’s a celebration you’ve had this school year? Proud of my students because I feel like we’re getting better and better, getting into contests this year. Proud of my STTV students because of all of the hard work they’ve put in this year.
What’s one thing you are challenging yourself with this year? Sports broadcasting-I’m excited and challenged to get our truck built and for myself and my students to learn this new method of streaming and to have a more professional sports broadcast.

Artists Celebrated!
Please help us celebrate 14 Staley artists chosen to have their work hang in the Tim Murphy art gallery December 6-29th. We have 14 out of 160 entries from the metro area. Opening reception is Thursday, December 6 from 7-8:30 pm at the Irene B. French Community Center, Merriam, Kansas.
STALEY SOAR AWARD
The faculty and staff at Staley High School are committed to ensuring the overall success of our students and they are the reason our students are so successful here at SHS. We would like to recognize them for all they do for our students and for our entire school community. That is why we have created the SOAR award to be presented to nominated and winning employees each month. Both certified and classified employees can be nominated for the monthly SOAR award.
Anyone can nominate a member of the Staley team for this award by filling out the form below. The form is quick and easy! It asks for you to share how your nominee demonstrates Staley’s core values of Service, Ownership, Achievement and Respect while positively impacting our students and community. You can also share how the nominee supports the goals and mission of Staley High School and the North Kansas City Schools District.
Please take a moment when you are so moved to do so and recognize a Staley employee! SOAR award nominees and winners will be recognized monthly.
