Student Registration and Schedules
Any parent who has not completed the schedule release paperwork to access their student's schedule needs to do this as soon as possible. Please be aware that any student who does not have the necessary paperwork filled out will not be allowed to go to class the first day of school. Parents who have not completed the paperwork will need to bring their student to campus on Monday and complete the required documents. You can complete this paperwork on line any time up to the first day of school through Parent Portal.
Setting up and updating your Parent Portal account gains you access to your student's grades, attendance, assessment information, and Jasper eNews. If you need technology assistance, please contact the help desk at 469-752-8767 or at parent.portal@pisd.edu (email must include student name, student ID, and campus).
We have provided some helpful handouts to get you through the schedule release on-line paperwork:

Re-Print Your Schedule!
Your schedule may have changed since you first accessed it on July 31st. Be sure to RE-PRINT a new schedule from Parent Portal on Sunday, August 11th, before arriving at school on Monday morning in order to ensure you have the most accurate schedule possible.
Unpaid Meal Charge Guideline
Effective July 1, 2019
Notification for Parents: The goal of Plano ISD’s school breakfast and lunch program is to provide healthy meals to children during the school day. In order to serve healthy, high-quality meals to all children, we must make sure we are financially secure. Since parents play a key role in this effort, we want to share the district’s Unpaid Meal Charge Guideline.
Students with Unpaid Meal Charges: Families are expected to provide a breakfast or lunch or provide their child with cash or money deposited in their child’s meal account to purchase school meals. Meal account balances may be viewed by parents online via PayPAMS (https://paypams.com/HomePage.aspx). Parents/guardian may make payments in students’ account through the online payment system or in person at the campus site.
- For online payments go to: https://paypams.com/HomePage.aspx
- To access the Free and Reduced Price Meal Application go to: https://fans.pisd.edu/fma/
- For questions or inquiries about payment plans, contact the food and nutritional services manager at the campus site.
- Community resources are available to assist families online at: https://www.pisd.edu/cms/lib/TX02215173/Centricity/Domain/307/Community_Resources2017.pdf
Secondary Guideline:
A student is allowed up to two reimbursable breakfast meal charges and two reimbursable lunch meal charges (where served). Once a student incurs these charges communication to the parents/guardian will be initiated.
- An automated phone message is sent to parents/guardian weekly when a student has a debt of $5.00 or more.
- An email notification is sent to parents/guardian weekly when a student has a debt of $5.00 or more.
- An email notification is sent to parents/guardian two times per year (December/April) when a student has a debt of $4.99 or less.
Students with a negative balance will not be allowed to charge pre-packaged a la carte snack and beverage items. These items will be removed from a student’s tray.
Once a student has incurred a debt of $15.00 or more, an alternate meal will be provided at $2.50. An alternate meal will contain a cheese sandwich, fruit and/or vegetable servings, and choice of milk.
Student Drop Off and Pick Up
In order to help make drop-off and pick-up as smooth and safe as possible, please be aware of the procedures for student drop off and pick up and understand traffic patterns.
Student Drop Off: No student should be dropped off in the front (north parking lot) of Jasper before school. This includes extra curricular activities at any time. All students should be dropped off in the circle drive or south student parking lot. In the morning, both lanes of the circle drive are drop off lanes. Please make sure your student is aware and watches for traffic in the car and bus lanes as they cross to the student entrance. If you are dropping off in the right drop off lane closest to the building, please watch for students crossing in front of you.
Student Pick Up: All students should be picked up in the south circle drive or south parking lot. There should not be any student being picked up in the north parking lot; this includes tennis players and all fine arts students.
Specific Directions for Circle Drive: Please be aware that the right lane of the circle drive is for pick-up only. Cars may park along the curb and move forward as cars exit the pick up lane. The left lane of the circle drive is not a pick up lane and should be used only for exiting the circle drive only. Please do not stop and block the left lane and do not allow your student to enter your vehicle while you are in the left lane.
Specific Directions for the South Student Parking Lot: Parents are encouraged to utilize the south student parking lot for student pick up. There are certain traffic flow specifics everyone needs to adhere to. Please see the map below for specifics. No one should use the center lane at any point. This is a bus lane only.
