STEM Resources
Dieck Elementary becomes a STEM focused school!
What does STEM mean to you?
When we asked Bruce Fuller, Principal of Dieck Elementery what STEM means to him and his staff, he enthusiastically responded with the following explanation.
S: Science: Understanding of the world, and the universe. In order to understand, we do experiments to test them. Tend to test things.
T: Create, Construct, Communicate, Manage Data, Measuring. Tech is the vehicle, the tool.
E: Work with things that have already been tested, and you are working in a set of constraints. How do I make this bridge work? Constraints of money or time? Building, creating, collaborating.
M: Data management aligning with tech!
