Health / PE State Standards
Our District Elementary PE teachers will begin blending several Health Education standards within their Physical Education program. On September 17, the elementary coaches met with the District Curriculum Department to map out a plan addressing both sets of standards. We are extremely fortunate to have a seasoned PE teacher with experience in providing a diverse program, emphasizing skill development, physical activity, fitness, healthy lifestyles and the rising use of technology. For more information on Florida Health and PE standards, visit

This month we will be studying responsibility and self control.
Responsibility is the ability to be responsible for one's conduct or behavior.
A great book to read about responsibility is, "My Choices Make Me Who I Am" https://video.link/w/uoRkb
Self control is control of one's own behavior, thoughts or actions. A great book to read on self control is, "What Should Danny Do?" https://video.link/w/qtRkb

Parent Focus Portal
The Focus Parent Portal is a tool designed to enhance communication and involvement for you in your child's education. This portal will allow you to monitor your child's progress in school by providing timely access to both assignments and grades that are entered by the teacher throughout the grading period. This communication tool will improve your ability to assist your child and to communicate with the teacher if necessary.
Please visit the front office and speak to Ms. Osborn to set up your Focus Parent Portal account.
