Assuring learning excellence and readiness for a changing world
What an amazing first week!
First day of school, first fire drill! We did get an "award" for having the earliest fire drill. It will be a first day to remember, that's for sure. Thank you for all of your help getting the school year started, including, evacuating the building in the pouring rain, providing supervision during our welcome back assembly, and keeping a positive attitude, even when the dew point was as high as the temperature!
Thursday was an incredible Link Crew follow up. All of the freshmen were provided time to practice national anthem etiquette, singing the school song, and learning a number of the cheers the student section engages in during a game. I was very proud of our Link Leaders and senior leaders who helped to include our freshmen in our school community. Thank you to our LC advisors, and all of you who helped out that day.
Subs on the Sidewalk was a success! Thank you to Student Council and all who helped supervise tables, sold Fro-yo, and supervised.
