STAAR Test Dates are posted on the WLMS Testing Information website.


As testing approaches, more information about what to expect on test day will be shared.

Attention: Calling all Immunization records!

Attention: Calling all Immunization records!

As your children receive their middle school immunizations, please remember to bring or send a copy of their updated immunization record to Mrs. Metcalf (nurse) at the WLMS clinic. Many of your children have probably already received these immunizations. For those who still need their updated vaccines, please make these appointments very soon. According to Texas state law, without proof of the required vaccines, your child(ren) will not be able to attend school and may be withdrawn.


This is especially important for current 6th grade students who are entering 7th grade. Please call Mrs. Metcalf (nurse) at 281-641-5805 if you have any questions. Her email address is Mallory.Metcalf@humbleisd.net


6th Grade
Polio - 4 doses with 1 after 4th birthday
DTaP/DT/DTaP - 5 doses with 1 after the 4th birthday
MMR - 2 doses, 1st dose after 1st birthday
Hepatitis B - 3 doses
Varicella - 2 doses, 1st dose after 1st birthday
Hepatitis A - 2 doses, 1st dose after the 1st birthday


7th Grade
Polio - 4 doses with one after 4th birthday
DTP/DT/DTaP- 5 doses with one after 4th birthday

Tdap/DT - booster
MMR - 2 doses, 1st dose after 1st birthday
Hepatitis B - 3 doses

The WLMS yearbook is on sale now! Be sure to pre-order your student's yearbook as supplies are limited and you don't want to miss out! More than half the pre-ordered books are already accounted for, so don't miss your chance for this year's memories!

Did you know that you can also order a dedication for your student? This can be done at the same time as your book purchase! (Please note- these are two separate costs) For assistance with purchasing a yearbook or a dedication/ad, please see the attached PDF. The deadline for dedications to be submitted is January 28th!

  • PTO donated monies to the school awhile back for the purchase of Chromebooks. They are finally in and with IT for set up and tagging.

  • We were able to stock up the admin team with 100 more gift cards for Wolf Bucks rewards.

Looking ahead:
  • 02/08/22 4-10pm We will have a Spirit Night at the Texas Roadhouse in Humble. PTO will get 10% of your food purchases back in donation. BONUS, please write the name of your favorite teacher on the back on your receipt and the teacher with the most votes will get a voucher for dinner for two. What a great opportunity to give back doubly in February!

  • Tuesday, 02/22/22 it’s going to be Taco Tuesday for the staff. We want to provide the staff with a fun lunch. PTO board members are purchasing and cooking up the meats. If you would be able to help us with some items as well, that would be amazing. See the Signup Genius below. Content Spotlight: Reading and Language Arts

7th grade RELA students chose a topic that they had empathy for. They did academic research on the topic and created a SPARK website about their topic. They presented these websites to the class to create more empathy for their topic. Here are some examples of outstanding work!
