Things to Be Aware of:
- Thank you for participating in this trimester's Parent and Teacher Conferences. We hope that you found them to be helpful and were able to see some of the great things your child is doing here at Rocky Mountain! If you have not done so already, please complete this Parent Survey (click this link or complete above) regarding your experience this trimester. For your information, our next Parent and Teacher Conferences will be Wednesday, April 18.
Several scientists and colleagues at the INL will be piloting a new "Girls Who Code" club here at RMMS, the only school in our region to receive such an opportunity! The club will be meeting on Wednesdays after school with the program running about 10 weeks overall. If all goes well, they will restart the program and run trimester to trimester. Since this will be a new pilot program, if you have a daughter that would be interested in learning more about digital coding and programming, have them talk with a teacher on their team for a nomination.
We are in need of judges for our Regional History Day which is hosted by Rocky Mountain Middle School each year. We need judges! You don't have to have any historical knowledge, just a willingness to help. We would need a time commitment from you from 8 am-1 pm on Friday, March 2nd. We will even serve you lunch! Let Rona Johnson or Jami McLing know if you are interested and willing.
The counselors from Thunder Ridge High School would like to come and do registration for their students on Wednesday, February 21 and Friday, February 23. Counselors from Thunder Ridge will meet with the students attending the new school during their History class on Wednesday. Students will report to the auditorium for their History class that day to get the information about registration. On Friday, the students will come down to the library during their Science class to actually register.
