Dear CCES Families--

Thank you for supporting our campus each and every day! Our teachers and staff are continuing the work of growing our students and your support is a big part of how successful our students are at school. We can't thank you enough for partnering with our teachers, campus, and with Hutto ISD to build excellence in academics, character, and community!

As you will see in this newsletter, our campus is jammed packed with many events for students and families! We welcome you to any and all of our campu events! Just check in the front office to join us any day!

Thank you in advance for your support!

Cottonwood Creek Traffic News

Parents, we have received your feedback concerning the traffic in the front parking lot. Speed bumps have been installed to slow down traffic. Starting Monday, CCE will now have a swinging security gate to help with safety and traffic flow. This should keep parking lot safer for students and families.

Valerie Kozak, Counselor

Thank you to everyone for participating in our Bully Prevention week and Red Ribbon week! Let's continue to practice and encourage being bully-free and drug-free everyday! This month, teachers Hippo Way lessons will focus on being safe. Classroom guidance will focus on big problems and little problems.

Lots of special events happening this month to show our thanks to each other and our community. Let's show our thanks to first responders and Veterans! Keep an eye out for information being sent home on Thanksgiving lunch from Child Nutrition Services, Orange Santa and our first annual Turkey Trot benefiting our community.

Did you know that our campus has a clothing closet? If you have gently used clothing items that you would like to donate to our campus for other students that may need them, please drop them off in the front office at CCE. We appreciate your donations!

Lost Clothing? Please check out our lost and found section at our school. Lost items are multiplying and we want to make sure that parents remind students to check this area for any clothing item, lunch box, hats, etc that they may be missing.

Lost & Found Area is currently located in the gym hallway, but will be relocated to cafeteria later in November. Thank you!
