This week, we congratulate Julia Brady for receiving the Provo Way Award. Exceptional office attendants and registrars can juggle at an awe-inspiring pace; they ensure seamless administrative operations by managing daily correspondence, organizing files, assisting visitors, and more, while a registrar clerk maintains accurate records, processes registrations, and facilitates document retrieval in a district office setting. It’s an extremely tall order that takes a lot of practice. Ben notes that Julia seemed stressed when she started three years ago, but nowadays she’s the proverbial Swiss army knife of office work. On Thursday, March 7th, the District is hosting its annual Elementary Choral Festival.
Each elementary school choir has prepared one piece of music to share with the other elementary school choir students in the district. They will perform for one another and also sing one a piece together, six hundred students strong. The Provo City School District Foundation recognizes the great work performed every day by employees of the district and strives to support them whenever possible. Each year six outstanding educators (1 principal, 1 classified/prof. tech. employee, and 4 teachers) are recognized for their contribution to the education of students.
