The Industrial Revolution is the time when machines took the place of men. Since there were so many machines people were having to quit or leave there jobs. A lot of machines were built in during the Industrial Revolution such as the cotton gin, light bulb, and the sewing machine etc. Machines did work way faster than humans that's why there had to quit or get fired.
Inventors and there inventions
Eli watt invented the cotton, the point of the cotton gin is to remove seeds from raw cotton. Ellis Howe invented the sewing machine, the point of the sewing machine is to sew fabric together.Thomas Edison invented the light bulb, the point of the light bulb is so you can see without using a candle. These inventors have made a huge impact on the world making things work easier with machines. Thanks to these people production is more smooth.

Child Labor was a time when children from 5 and older had to work in factories for a large amount of time.A girl who went through child labor was Adeline Card she had to go through working in factories and on machines. Child Labor started in 1924 but now there is no child labor in the United States. The people that went trough child labor must of hated it and wanted to do something else in their life
