Dear CDC Families

Welcome back! Happy 2023! We trust that you all had a wonderful break and thoroughly enjoyed your time with loved ones over the last two weeks! Looking back at our last month of the year, the winter program was by far the highlight. The children performed beautifully for their families.

Our weather was mild over the holidays, but now it seems that each day seems to be a little colder. We ask that you dress your children in clothing that is appropriate for the cold weather. We make every effort to have outdoor gross motor time daily, so coats are necessary during the winter months. Also, replace the warm weather clothing in your child's cubby with clothing that includes long sleeve shirts, long pants and extra socks in case of an accident.

In the event that the forecast requires us to close the school. Please be sure to provide current contact information if this has changed for you recently so that you may be reached in case of emergency. We appreciate you keeping us informed of any changes regarding our students!

Wishing you a Happy and Healthy 2023!

Please join us for this school years Parents Meet & Greet!

This will give the parents a chance to meet the classroom teachers and learn more about your child's daily routine and school updates. You will have time to explore your child's classroom, learn more about the Child Development Center Philosophy, our Frog Street curriculum and experience our school environment. You will also have the opportunity to meet fellow CDC parents and put a face to the names that you have been hearing about at home and vote for classroom parent representatives.

We will spend the upcoming weeks organizing this event and we will provide you with all of the details once they are finalized.

We are so very excited to see everyone in person. Stay tuned for more information.
