A Few Notes from Mrs. Bervert
We had a great week of learning, and spring is alive and well at Berryton Elementary! A few items of note:
- Board of Education meeting on Monday- Our staff have closely followed the legislative bill that would require students to be in school full-time. This topic will be on the Board of Education agenda this coming Monday night.
- Kindergarten Round Up- Based on the results of our Board of Education meeting we have edited our Kindergarten Round Up plans and are looking to offer night time sessions for our incoming kindergarten students.
- Staffing Additions- We are thrilled to announce that we will have a full-time social worker at Berryton Elementary this coming school year, and we will retain Mrs. Tori Simpson for this position. We also added a Reading Interventionist at BES and Linda Dishman has accepted this position. I am thrilled to have additional staffing to support our Buffalos both academically and with their social/emotional needs.
- Class Placement Support- We value the input of our BES families, and there is a new form below that will collect information to help us best create balanced classes in Fall 2021.
Have a great weekend!

About Me
As an elementary principal I enjoy working collaboratively with staff members to support student learning. I am passionate about continuing to learn professionally, and building relationships with staff and students at Berryton Elementary. When I'm not serving at Berryton Elementary I am usually with my husband and two sons. We can be found at sporting events, cheering on Kansas State University, or just enjoying a movie at home.
