Signs and symptoms of Binge Eating Disorder include:
- Body weight is normal to mild, moderate,or severe obesity
- Feelings of anger, anxiety, worthlessness, or shame preceding binges
- Strong need to be in control and have a difficulty expressing your feelings and needs
The disappearance of large amounts of foods in short periods of times or lots of empty wrappers and containers
Periods of uncontrolled, impulsive, or continuous eating beyond the point of feeling uncomfortably full, but you do not purge

While she was a "Spice Girl," she was constantly pressured by her management to lose weight and be slim. Her other co-stars encouraged her to take liquid meal substitutes. She eventually started to binge eat as she became obsessed with her appearance and weight.
