Homecoming Buttons will be on sale for $2 during all lunches during the week of Homecoming. Buy your button and wear it around school for a chance to win a prize! Remember, too, that bringing your button to the Homecoming dance gets you a discounted price for your ticket and there will be a raffle for prizes at the dance using button numbers.

The Dodgeball Tournament
Our annual Link Crew sponsored Dodgeball Tournament will take place Monday, October 8 @ 6:30pm. Registration forms are outside 216 (Ms. Peterson's room). Return form and $10 per team to Ms. Peterson by Friday, October 5. The winning team gets to battle the teachers on Homecoming day!
Dress Up Days
Starting Monday, October 8th, students can show their school spirit by participating in the dress up days listed below. Each grade level will also be competing to see who has the heart of a true Scarlet. Students who dress up can earn points for their class by making their way to the Spirit Shack during lunches where staff members will assign points for creative and festive outfits.
Monday: Groutfit Day
Tuesday: Tacky Tourist Tuesday
Wednesday: Class Color Day - 9th green, 10th purple, 11th blue, 12th white
Thursday: Tye-Dye Day
Friday: Scarlet Pride - Red and WhiteThe Dance

Mankato High School & Mankato West High School Hall of Fame Induction
Mankato High and Mankato West High School's Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will be held Thursday, October 11th at the Wow Zone.
Hall of Fame inductees are graduates and staff who are being recognized for their legacies and contributions to Mankato High School/West High School, the Mankato community, and beyond. Those honored with the Hall of Fame recognition serve as role models for current students. Categories established as selection criteria include professional, athletic/entertainment, science/technology and community service. A permanent display of the Hall of Fame is located at West High School near the gymnasium.

Ms. Beck and her husband welcomed a baby boy! This is the 7th baby born into our Scarlet family this year.
