Weekend Update 12/22/23
Lincoln Middle School | Weekend Update
Lincoln Weekend Update, December 22, 2023
Lincoln Community,
Thank you to the many families who contributed to Lincoln's holiday drive. We have nearly a dozen large boxes filled with clothing, coats, food, pet supplies, and even more, ready to be donated to the Des Plaines Self-Help Pantry. A big thanks to Ms. Oyer, Ms. Haded, and our student council members for coordinating this event. We are hopeful that our contributions will make a small difference in the lives of families in need.
Last weekend Lincoln hosted the FLL Robotics Qualifier Tournament. Lincoln Middle School supports two separate teams: Team 492 and 493. We are very proud to announce that both Lincoln teams are advancing to the next round of competition. Congratulations are in order for our competitors as well as the many parent and community members who volunteer to support this program. You all make Lincoln proud!
Lastly, retake photo orders were distributed to students on Thursday! Also, please be sure to your order your yearbook today.
Best wishes to all Lincoln families for restful and joyful holidays, see you back in the hallways on January 9, 2024!
In Partnership,
Eric Larson, Laena DiVito, Jason Jonas
