About the Intercultural Leadership Alliance

The vision for the Intercultural Leadership Alliance (ILA) is to provide a space for organizations and individuals devoted to issues of culture, diversity or social justice to find support, dialogue about campus issues, and share ideas. Additionally, the ILA will provide feedback on efforts to engage and support students of all cultures, backgrounds, and life experiences on campus.

Retreat Goals

§ Define the mission and purpose of the Intercultural Leadership Alliance

§ Explore the impact of social identity on campus experiences for individuals and groups

§ Discuss issues impacting students’ campus experiences and formulate strategic plan to address issues

§ Identify opportunities for intercultural collaboration in order to meet the needs of our diverse student population

§ Develop and deepen friendships to foster a greater appreciation and understanding of different campus experiences
