Cornell Men's Hockey
Ticket Sales: Week of September 23, 2013
Attention Students,
The highly coveted discount season ticket package to Cornell men’s ice hockey games go on sale the week of Sept. 23. Be sure to mark your calendar!
The tradition of Cornell hockey spans nearly a century of sellout crowds, championship teams and thunderous chant of “Let’s Go Red,” filling Lynah Rink.
Cornell men's hockey finished strong in 2013 and is ready to pick up right where it left off. The Big Red swept Colorado College and topped Michigan at Madison Square Garden, then went 7-3-1 in its final 11 contests. In those 11 games its only losses were to eventual national champion Yale, and to national runner-up Quinnipiac in two-of-three contests in the ECAC Hockey quarterfinals. With head coach Mike Schafer returning four of the team's top five scorers, the Big Red is looking for its eighth NCAA tournament appearance in the last 13 seasons. This season’s schedule features 18 home games and can be found online at: CornellBigRed.com.
The Cornell Athletic Dept. holds 1,500 seats for Cornell students. Ticket sales begin on Monday, Sept. 23 for graduate students and 3-year prior ticket holders. The sale concludes with the line-up and selection of seats on Friday evening, Sept. 27 at 7pm in Bartels Hall.
