SFA Science
Busted Bracket Edition - Week of 21 March 2016
Yep, my golden teams went one and done...
Welcome back from Spring Break! I hope everyone enjoyed the time away to refresh, finish the honey-do lists, travel, disconnect from technology - ANYTHING that was not school related for a few days, and we have a short week, too. On Monday we will hit the floor running...
If you did not get the chance to watch "What's Up SFA" yet, there is a very important presentation that we need to share with our students during FIRST PERIOD MONDAY. Construction has changed our traffic flow around campus and we need to help our kiddos be in the right place, going in the right direction, to safely get to class on time. Here is the link to the presentation. Please don't be "that teacher" who didn't share the presentation with our students. You know the kiddos will call us out!
With STAAR and more benchmarks coming up next week, please "talk-up" the goals our students have set. Have students pull out their planners and review their goals. Remind them of all the great things they have accomplished so far and how we work together in science to support their goals in reading, writing and math. This is a great time to be our students' biggest cheerleaders, and build rapport with them along the way. ;)
