As we embark on the second half of the year, January is an excellent time to review Digital Citizenship with your students. Below are several resources available to jump start 2016 to guide students on the path of becoming good digital citizens.

Word Cloud Generator Add-on

Word Cloud Generator is offered as an add-on to any Google Doc.


To add this add-on:


  1. Open a Google Doc
  2. Select add-ons
  3. Select Get Add-ons
  4. In search box type Word Cloud Generator
  5. Click on + Free


To use:


  1. Open or type a Google Doc with at least 100 words
  2. Select Add-ons
  3. Select Word Cloud Generator
  4. Select Create Word Cloud
  5. The word cloud will appear in the right-hand margin of your document
