Distance Learning Message #9 - Final Message

Message From Rich & Tim

Dear HMS students and families,

We are truly grateful for how you have managed the difficult end to a very different school year. This is likely to be one of the most memorable experiences of your academic endeavors and you have handled it so well. More than the academic work, we are reminded of how much you mean to us and how much we miss being with you in school. Thanks to you and your families for finding the courage to make this year special! A part of you will always remain with us. Have an amazing summer!

HMS Weekly

The final HMS weekly for the year is a "MUST VIEW"! Please enjoy the end of year culminating video, more shout-outs to students, and well wishes from our faculty & staff to our outgoing 8th graders!

8th Grade "Clap-Out"

A friendly reminder that all 8th grade students are invited to have your parents drive through our parking lot on Tuesday, June 16 @ 9:00 AM to celebrate your time spent at HMS! We look forward to seeing you.

End of Year Awards

In earlier correspondence we stated that our End of Year Awards video would be sent out on the last day of school. However, we are ready and excited to send out this celebratory event tomorrow, June 12, 2020. In a year of many firsts, please be on the look out for our first virtual video assembly!

Congrats to both 7th & 8th grade awards winners!

Year Books

Thank you to all of the families who have purchased a 2019-2020 Yearbook. And a HUGE thank you to all of the families who contributed photos from the last few months!

Due to the pandemic, our publishing company had to shut down production; the company has resumed printing, but at a limited capacity. As a result, our delivery has been delayed for a few weeks. Do not fret: the Yearbooks are still coming!

Once a delivery date has been set, the Yearbook Advisor, Mr McCarthy, will work with the principals and CR Administration to develop a distribution plan that is accordance with all federal and state health and safety guidelines. Once that plan is set, families will be notified and arrangements can be made.

There's no denying: the end of the school year is just not the same without the Yearbook. But it will be here soon!

If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to Matthew McCarthy, mmccarthy@crsd.org
