Pastor's Message
I wanted to wish all Mothers a Happy Mother’s Day.
We can’t wait to "March" into Spring. We did and we are actually in May now even though we are in the midst of a bit of a cold spell. As our season of Celebrating Christs Resurrection continues we begin to see new life all around us. Leaves are beginning to bud, before long you will hear the train behind the school but not see it because of a wall of leaves. Tulips (even yesterday in the cold) were open and the warmth inside them turned the few snowflakes that fell into water, the open tulips looked like cups almost. Bits of yellow daffodils seem to dot many places on the property. And for those who are in tune with birds, we are hearing new songs and even louder ones. Through the difficulties of social isolation God has given us nature.
I suggest using whatever senses you have; sight, smell, touch, hearing - see and listen nature is all around you. Have you planted a garden, you can taste nature too. March into Spring we are doing. May God continue to guide us on our way each day. I would invite our school families to maybe print and pray this poem.

Principal's Notes
Happy Mother's Day to all of our SBS Moms! I hope that you had a wonderful day.
Looking ahead to this week...please join us for School Mass on Tuesday at 10 am - a Zoom Invite will be sent out.
Also, beginning this week I will hold a Principal Coffee Chat with each "Level" in the school. I will be sending out Zoom invitations and encourage you to join me. We will discuss our current situation, a new social media recruitment initiative and I will do my best to answer any questions that you have.
Last Sunday would have been our 2nd Graders First Communion. Unfortunately we had to postpone the Mass until September, but several students still dressed for the occasion! It will be a joyous day when we can celebrate their Holy Sacrament.
All my best,
Matthew Collins
