Mrs. Gorman's Weekly News
Week of Oct. 9-Oct. 13
Math
We are quickly working through Module 2. Module 2 deals with converting, adding and subtracting mixed units of metric measurement. Please click on the link below to access the Module 2 Parent Tip page.
Science
We began working with Chapter 4, Properties of Matter. The students are learning about different ways that matter can be described. They have learned that matter can be described qualitatively (observations with their 5 senses) or quantitatively (measurements such as length, width, mass, volume, etc.)

Students should be turning in their topic selections. I have uploaded a link to their google classroom page where they can submit this information to me. Both links can also be found in the scholars' science class on Google Classroom.
