Mrs. Bonaddio's Class Did a Show Not Tell For Being Neighborly For This Week's Community Meeting
Family PRINT Challenge
This week was all about the "N" in our PRINT, so the Family PRINT Challenge is all about being neighborly.
Challenge: As a family discuss with your child what are some ways that you can be neighborly to each other and to people that you might see on a daily basis. Have each member of your family pick one thing they can do to make someone feel appreciated and seen and try it out for a week. At the end of the week have a discussion about how it made each person feel to show kindness.
For example, each day I come home loaded with bags and materials from school. When my son was about 8 years old, he randomly started coming out to meet me at my car to carry in my bags. It felt so nice for him to recognize that he could help me on his own and it became a tradition. His random act of kindness made me feel appreciated and loved. What can you do to brighten someone's day?
