Risks of teenage pregnancy are in the medical and emotional categories. Medical problems include low birth weight and inadequate fetal growth, which could do great harm to the baby, or preeclampsia, which could potentially kill the baby or mother. Emotional problems include feeling alienated from your peers, increased chance of poverty, and depression.
