School News
SCHEDULE CHANGE - NO SCHOOL FRIDAY, MARCH 19
OASD SCHEDULE CHANGE: No School on March 19
Through a new partnership with Walgreens, we are able to offer an on-site COVID-19 vaccination clinic for OASD staff, Oconomowoc Transport staff, and Aramark staff on Friday, March 19.
In order to provide the space and time to vaccinate such a large group, we will not have school on Friday, March 19. Students will not have in-person or virtual learning on March 19. Staff will have a professional work day with the opportunity to attend the vaccination clinic.
NEW School Schedule Next Week:
March 15: No School. Reminder - this is a previously scheduled, non-school day for students and professional development day for staff.
March 16: School day
March 17: School day
March 18: School day
March 19: No School. Non-school day for students and work day for staff with the opportunity to attend the vaccination clinic.

The PKL STEM lab is always working on projects where students are creating and building. Please consider helping keep the lab stocked with any of the following supplies. Thank you!

Battle of the Bathrooms is back
Safety in the bathroom is:
- Keeping the floors dry
- Reporting problems
- Clean up and throw away trash
Respect in the bathroom is:
- Honoring privacy
- Using soft voices
Responsibility in the bathroom is:
- Flushing
- Drying your hands with paper towel
- Using 1-2 squirts of soap
- If you think you need extra time let your teacher know

How do I know if my child should stay home from school?
If within the last 24 hours your child has experienced ONE of the following symptoms above baseline
- Cough (persistent)
- Shortness of breath
- Difficulty breathing
- New loss of smell or taste
If within the last 24 hours your child has experienced TWO of the following symptoms
- Fever above 100.4, chills, rigors
- Muscle/body aches
- Headache
- Sore throat
- Fatigue
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
- Diarrhea
If you have the symptoms below alone
- Fever
- Diarrhea
- Vomiting
*Remain home for at least 24 hours without the use of medications to alleviate symptoms

Part-time Custodians Requested
The Oconomowoc Area School District is seeking part-time custodians (4 to 5 ½ hrs/day) to work Monday through Friday (one position includes Saturday), evening hours, $14.25/hour. Apply on-line (WECAN) in the support staff section to vacancy #87955: https://wecan.education.wisc.edu

FREE FOOD FOR FAMILIES IN NEED
Free food for anyone in need!
Hope Church is excited to partner with Bob Crouch of White Stone Warriors, White Stone Church and Just One More Ministry to make this food available.
Who: For anyone in need! Please feel free to sign up for extra boxes if you are able to deliver to family or friends unable to be there during the designated time or if you could use extra!
What: FREE 25 lb box of food (food varies from week to week, but usually includes produce, dairy, meat and other items and bread and bakery is often available too!)
When: Thursdays from 2-2:30pm
Where: White Stone Church Parking Lot (2517 Dousman Road, Oconomowoc)
How: Simply click this link to reserve your box (all names/personal info or comments will remain hidden/confidential). Then, be there between 2-2:30pm on that Thursday with an empty trunk, to drive through the pick-up lane. (The truck leaves by 3pm so please be there between 2-2:30, the line moves fast!)
