Noble News
Week of 5/7
Principal's Message
It is hard to believe that we are already in our four week countdown - but the end of the year is upon us! We have LOTS of fun activities to look forward to in the next four weeks and it is going to be important that our Noble scholars show us that, even with the end of the year around the corner, they can continue to show the Noble expectations (Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Safe, and Be Kind). Be on the lookout for our end of the year activities :)
Also, we have a district document to share with all families concerning communication with families of students with disabilities. Click on this link to review the document: CH-UH City School District Plan for Communications with Persons with Disabilities.

Safety Reminders
The Noble Neighborhood Library is currently closed for renovation resulting in more middle school and high school students on our Noble playground equipment after school than usual. Unfortunately, there have been a few instances where these students have made unsafe decisions with one another. We have asked for an increased Cleveland Heights Police presence after school to ensure the safety of all.
This is an important reminder that if a student is planning on using the playground equipment directly after school, they must have a parent present. Students can come back to use the playground equipment after checking in at home if their families allow it, but they need to go home first.
Thank you for your attention to these safety reminders!

- children's and teen after school programs will be offered at Disciples Christian Churh, 3663 Mayfield Rd in Cleveland Heights on a regular basis, beginning in April. Programs are listed at heightslibrary.org and in the Check Us Out program guide.

Student Attendance
This past week, our FOURTH GRADE CLASS led the attendance charge with a 95% attendance rate!! WAY TO GO, Fourth Graders :)
Our schoolwide attendance rate for March was 92.8%. While this is still above our goal of 92%, please put every effort forth to make sure that if your child is well enough to be at school, they are at school. Thank you for all of our families who are working hard to help make sure our scholars are here at school!

Noble PRIDE Roll-Out - May Focus: Empowered

In November, we practiced the behavior of being PROACTIVE and our scholars did a great job practicing being in control of their attitude and planning for success. In December and January, we focused on being REFLECTIVE and practiced thinking about how they can reflect on their learning and behavior at school. February's focus was on being INQUISITIVE and looking forward to learning new things at school. During March and April, our scholars have focused on practicing the behavior of being DETERMINED.
Be sure that you are connected to your child's ClassDojo account. You can keep informed about school events, monitor the points they receive for positive behavior, and message with their teachers.
