#WhatImReading
#SoManyBooks#SoManyArticles
When you talk to your scholars, how does it sound? When you want them to complete a task, how do you approach it? When you need them to listen to you, how do you ask for their attention? The way we approach all of these interactions with our scholars matter! It is E+R=O at the core. This week's COP article reflects on how we can get ELITE results from just changing our language or our tone. For example:
Instead of saying: "Do you have any questions?"
SAY: "What questions do you have for me?"
Why will asking "what questions do you have for me" be a better option? It sends the message that "I expect you will have questions and I am here to help, support, and answer them." Whereas asking, "do you have any questions" scholar may feel unsafe in putting it out there. Make sense?
Reflect on what you say and see if by changing it, you can yield better results, which will yield higher performance!
Understanding the buckets and how to WIN at GAPS is our focus! Targets are set!
