Weekly Update-Volume VII Issue 25

Working Hours

This is just a reminder that all employees are to adhere to their assigned working hours. As always, I understand that it may be necessary on occasion to leave early or come in late and I will work with you in these instances. However, this should not be a regular occurrence. Also, it is imperative that you notify the office if you are going to be late or if you are leaving before your scheduled time.

Pep Rally

The SGA will host the spring pep rally on Monday, February 20th at 2:00. We will run a modified schedule with no Bruin Success. Friday will be first period Bruin Success.

2017-2018 Registration

We will begin the registration process for upperclassmen the week of February 20. To expedite the process, Mrs. Overton and I will call each class to the cafeteria during Bruin Success. We will try to stick to the schedule below…

Northeast RESA Superintendent's Meeting

On February 22 we will have about 30 superintendents and curriculum leaders visit CCHS for the day. The meeting will take place in the media center and the superintendents will tour the school. Please do not send student to the media center on Wednesday.

The ACT for students with accommodations will be administered to juniors on Tuesday, February 28. The bells will be silent during testing. Students with accommodations will take the ACT on Tuesday, March 7.

Learning Walks

We will complete our second and third set of Learning Walks during the third and fourth nine weeks grading periods. You will receive a full CEU for the professional development and for completing the three learning walks. Please see the Canvas page if you need any additional information.

Staff Handbook

The Staff Handbook can be found in staff Canvas this year. Please review this before the start of school. Special thanks to Mrs. Karen McPherson who worked very hard this summer to create videos and step by step instructions for Educator's Handbook, Aesop, Travel Tracker, etc... All of this information (and more) can be found on the Staff Canvas page.

Athletic Duty Sign-Up Sheet

The athletic duty sign up sheets have been placed in the Staff Canvas page. If you need to change a duty, please let Coach Harnly know. Thanks for your help with this!
