October

We are quickly approaching the end of our first 9 weeks of school! It is amazing how quickly the time flies. I am always reminded that when working with kids, "The days are long, but the years are short!" I have enjoyed getting to know your students. Thank you for sharing them with us!

September Students of the Month

Our students are doing amazing things. Our staff members have chosen a boy and girl member of each grade to be spotlighted for the month. These students will be showcased in our new spot light cases near the front office.

Tipton Bags

High Schoolers learning about entrepreneurship have created a product that they are selling in the high school and middle school. Middle school students have the opportunity to purchase Tipton themed drawstring bags during lunch. The cost is $10.

Athletics Passes

TMS athletics is putting a focus on students attending games to support their peers. All middle school students may purchase an athletic pass for all middle school events in the office. The cost is $15.

Being on a team is only one way for students to enjoy competition. We would love to fill the stands to all events, and make Tipton Middle School an intimidating place to play. Eventlink or Tiptonathletics.com is your one-stop shop for athletic schedules.

Please help us increase our attendance to after school events!

Vaping Awareness

So far this year, we have confiscated 6 vapes from middle school students. The devices are extremely small, and extremely difficult to find. We are doing everything we can to keep them out of the hands of our students, but we need your help.

Be sure you are having conversations with your students about the dangers of vaping. Across the nation, there are starting to be more cases where young people are being negatively effected by the chemicals associated with vapes. In case you are unfamiliar with vaping, the following resources will provide more information:
