Spotlight On The Arts

Columbia students put on an amazing exhibit of all of their talents at our first Spotlight on the Arts! They were able to show off their artistic ability, tech savy, and musical prowess. The turn out from the community was fantastic and the energy in the building was wonderful to see. Great job to all of the students that were represented.

Lake Erie Crushers and Stomper's Reading Club

Students enjoyed a lively assembly on Friday, March 17th! Stomper, the Lake Erie Crushers mascot

came to Copopa to see us! He danced, read a book, and played a little "Stomper Says" with the whole school.

It was a fun, musical, energetic assembly that kicked off the Stomper's Reading Club for this year.

All students have been given a bookmark for them to list 3 books that they have read.

They are to turn in their filled bookmarks with their name and teacher's name and the titles of three books that they have read to receive a free ticket to a Lake

Erie Crusher's home game in the summer. All bookmarks must be turned in by April 19th to receive the ticket, the bookmarks

will be returned to students with the ticket attached on May 4th.

Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Mile of Quarters

Copopa is raising money to help the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Please send in change to help support this amazing organization. We will be holding a contest between the three buildings. If you send in loose change or bills the students will turn it in to the Art Room. If you send in $10 in quarters or bills the students will take it to the office to have their name placed on a balloon to display in the hallway. If the students bring $20 to the office they will receive a bracelet. The contest and donations ends on May 19th!
