Alabama Civil Rights Movement

The modern Civil Rights movement in Alabama became a big problem in the United States .It also became a consciousness with a single act of civil disobedience by Rosa Parks in Montgomery.

Many major events happened in the United States of the modern civil rights like desegregation , racist , and also segregation. The modern Civil Rights Movement mostly happened in Alabama during the 1950s and 1960s .Concerted efforts to guarantee African Americans equal access to public , private transportation,schools,voting booths economic opportunities,and housing. Caused big problems of social turmoil all over the south where legal discrimination against black Americans was most pronounced.

the 1955-56 Montgomery bus boycott was protest to segregated public racilities in Alabama this was led by Martin Luther King Jr. lasted up to 350 days.

During the hard years , Alabama was the site of some of the most major events of the civil rights.
