CCA Homecoming Week - Sept. 27- Oct. 1

Once again, it is time to think about our annual Fall Homecoming Soccer Game on Friday, October 1st.

Leading up to that important game, we have a week of School Spirit Days. It is an exciting week of celebrating CCA Crusaders every day with theme days. Check out the list below and plan your wardrobe for the week:

  • Monday, Sept. 27 - Character Day - Dress like your favorite character from a movie or book.
  • Tuesday, Sept. 28 - Athletes Vs. Mathletes - Dress in your favorite team attire...or, if you aren't interested in sports, show your "academic professor" look.
  • Wednesday, Sept. 29 - Whiteout Vs. Wacky - Wear all white or pull in all the colors for some wacky clothes!
  • Thursday, Sept. 30 - Country Vs. Country Club - Dress like you are headed to the ranch or to the country club.
  • Friday, Oct. 1 - Green & Gold Mania - Show your CCA enthusiasm by wearing green & gold, head to toe!

On Friday, we will start the celebrations with a parade at 6:00 pm on the Athletic Fields, followed by a Crusaders Vs. Alumni game at 7:00 pm. During the halftime ceremony, we will crown the 2021 Homecoming Queen.

Join us for a fun-filled night with our school family! See you there!

Positive Cases Among Our School Family

Covid Updates

Big improvement in numbers this week! Let's continue to monitor symptoms and keep those with symptoms at home.

This week, we will have plexiglass sneezeguards installed in elementary classrooms to assist with decreasing "close contact" exposures in our classrooms. A big thank you to Duncan Parnell and Mrs. Gail Spring (a first grade parent) for assisting with the quick delivery and installation of these items.

POSITIVE TESTING

If your student has symptoms, please contact the school office for directions regarding specific dates when the student can return to school. Mrs. Allison and Mrs. Bowman are working together to communicate and provide consistent processes.

If your student tests positive with no symptoms, it is possible he/she could return to school after 10 days in quarantine.

If your student tests positive with symptoms, it is possible he/she could return to school after 10 days as long as they have been fever free for 24 hours and symptoms are improving.

WHO WOULD NOT NEED TO QUARANTINE?

  1. Anyone who has received the vaccine
  2. Anyone who was wearing a mask during the time of exposure
  3. Anyone who was not considered a close contact of the positive person.

Thank you for continuing to pray for our students and faculty!
