Free Workshops
LWTC is driven to find new and innovative ways to serve our students and workforce community. One such way is to continue to expand our course offerings to individuals who are looking to sharpen work skills or gain skills to embark on a new career. We have been the recipient of several new grants over the last year including The Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation, and the Rapid Credentialing Grant Program. Both have helped us expand offerings. The Rapid Credentialing Grant is designed to help those who are unemployed, underemployed, or furloughed as an impact of COVID-19, get back to work by assisting individuals to quickly obtain educational credentials to enter and/or re-enter the workforce. LWTC will soon offer two new courses, AutoCAD Essentials and ASE A5 Test Prep (Automotive Brake Systems), in addition to the two Rapid Response Courses presently offered, Home Health Aid and Information Technology. All courses, materials, and testing are free! Signing-up for a mandatory information session is as easy as clicking the live link, share this link with anyone you know in the community who may benefit.
